Nine-year-old Zoe Ng of Singapore, who lives with harlequin ichthyosis, was recently honored with the Perseverance Award at the AWWA Community Integration Service Awards for her resilience, positivity, and determination. Despite losing both hands as an infant due to complications from her condition, Zoe continues to thrive in school, pursue her love of art, and inspire those around her with her joyful spirit and courage. Her father, Samuel Ng, was also recognized with the Outstanding Caregiver Award for his unwavering support and advocacy.
