Jean Pickford, Executive Director
Jean has been serving FIRST as Executive Director for 1 years.  She has more than twenty years of experience in non-profit management and fund raising. Prior to joining the team at FIRST, she was employed at the American Heart Association, Southeastern PA Chapter as their Special Events Director. She began her non-profit career at the National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases Association of Delaware Valley, serving as Assistant Executive Director.   Jean is a member of the Advisory Council of the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease (NIAMS), a branch of the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD.  She also serves as Treasurer of the Coalition of Skin Diseases, headquartered in Washington, DC.  A married mother of three children, Jean holds various volunteer positions in the Home & School Association at her children's school.                                                          Contact Jean

Maureen Neville, Communications Director
Maureen joined FIRST in April of 2013, as our very first Communications Director.  Prior to joining our team, Maureen’s fifteen-year career spanned the roles of creative writer, marketing strategist, and account manager, in both corporate and ad agency settings.  Her positions as Senior Copywriter for both the Healthcare and Retail sectors, afforded her opportunity to reach new audiences with fresh and engaging communications–ultimately, reviving the “voices” of several long-standing brands.

Moureen Wenik, Program Director
Moureen has been with FIRST for 6 years. She was previously employed with the YMCA organization for 20 years and still holds part-time positions with them as Teen Leader Coordinator and CPR Instructor with the YMCA of Philadelphia. Moe also serves as director of the Pennsylvania and Central Atlantic Area YMCA Teen Leadership School. She is a married mother of three children and holds many volunteer positions, including the Upper Moreland Township Park and Recreation Advisory Council, the Montgomery County Youth Aid Panel, the Home and School Association at her children's school.

Donna Wiggins, Membership Services Coordinator
Donna celebrates her five year anniversary at FIRST in November 2013. Prior to joining the Foundation, Donna worked in an administrative position at Tabor Children's Services for 2½ years. She has been married for 32 years and is mother to three children. Donna and her family have spent time in many regions in the country, living in Illinois for 8 years, then moving to Atlanta where they spent 4 years, and currently in Pennsylvania.
 
Donna is responsible for FIRST’s database, communicating with members, and managing FIRST’s state charity registrations.                               Contact Donna
Lisa Breuning, Public Relations Coordinator
Lisa celebrated her 6 year anniversary with FIRST in September 2013. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Lisa was at home with her husband and 2 children. Prior to choosing to stay home, Lisa worked for 10 years at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia Bux-Mont Regional office, where she was the office manager and then the Coordinator of the Women's Division.
 
Lisa is responsible for maintaining FIRST’s website, and collaborating on FIRST's Public Relations.                                                                                    Contact Lisa
Christine Wassel, Development Coordinator
Chris joined our office in November 2010.    Before coming to FIRST, Chris was home with her 5 daughters, ages 8 years to 18 years. For 10 years prior to staying home with her family, Chris was the Manager of Operations at IMS Health.
